We will roast this coffee on Tuesday, September 13th. Pickup orders will be ready for pickup on Wednesday, September 14th and shipping orders will be shipped via USPS on Wednesday, September 14th.

The cup offers a unique combination of silky, smooth notes like vanilla and milk chocolate, while simultaneously presenting juicy jam-like sweetness and a raspberry acidity. It's an incredibly sweet coffee that will stick with you after finishing the cup.

This is a traditional natural process coffee from Marta Alemu sold as a single farmer lot coffee. Marta Alemu cultivated this lot on her 6-acre farm near Worka Sakaro located near the Gedeb growing region. She grew up helping her father cultivate coffee and only recently started her own farm. This is the first year that she's been able to sell her coffee as a micro-lot. Ripe cherries were carefully hand sorted and floated to remove less dense and damaged beans. Next, the cherries were dried on raised beds for 15 to 20 days and turned regularly to avoid over-fermentation and mold. The cherries were covered in the afternoon to prevent harsh drying in the sun.
