February Coffee: El Salvador Finca El Milagro
Origin: Santa Ana, El Salvador
Process: Washed
Roast Level: Medium
Notes: Floral, toasted walnut, kumquat, cinnamon, wildflower honey
Description: "This El Salvador comes to us from Santa Ana and from a farm called El Milagro, meaning "The Miracle," and wouldn't you know it, this coffee is miraculously delicious. It has an incredibly viscous, creamy, and buttery body. There's a super sweet brightness in the form of kumquat and wildflower honey—all while having a relatively mild acidity. To round out the cup, there's deep notes of cinnamon, granola, and walnut." -Roaster Tony
Background: Finca El Milagro has been in the Lima family for over 30 years. The farm is located in between small valleys creating microclimates that are home to many native species of animals and plants. The farm was certified Organic, RFA and SMBC around 2015.
